Sylvia J Snead

Sylvia Snead was born August 08, 1959 to the late Edward McCrimon and Eula Mae McCrae in Sampson County, NC. Sylvia departed this life on Monday October 7, 2019 at the age of 60. Sylvia is preceded in death by Randy McCrimon, Joyce McCrae, Rena Price, and Gregory McCrimon.

Sylvia attended Dunn High School in Dunn, NC and wore many professional hats in her life.

Sylvia married David E. Snead on April 13, 1992 of 27 years where they shared four children; Timothy Worthney of Dunn, NC, Michael McCrimon (Twanda) of Erwin, NC, Eldridge McCrimon, and Sharon (Wilbert Jr.) Elliott. 

Sylvia loved the Lord, was known by many to be outgoing, bold, a social butterfly, could brighten up any dark room, and very compassionate. Sylvia loved to sing and those that knew her would say she always would sing "Me, my God & I".  Sylvia attended Word Church of Deliverance with Pastor W. Elliott Jr. presiding and has attended Hope Christian Outreach Center (Pastor Willie Snead), Church of God of Prophecy(Bishop F. Taylor), and Good News Revival Center (Pastor L. Hicks).

Sylvia leaves to cherish sister Shirley Jones,several nieces and nephews,8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Good News Mission located at 310 E Townsend Street Dunn, NC.
