Robert M. Walton

Robert Michael Walton, affectionately known as "Bob," was born on 03 February 1943 and passed away at 7:15 pm on 04 April 2024 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Bob has worked for Yarborough Motor Company since 1972. Bob was an icon of Fayetteville, well-known as a master mechanic specializing in Jaguars and Volvos. In 2008, Dax bought Yarborough Motor Company and then opened Dax’s Deals Inc. Bob worked with Dax since the week before his death. Dax and his employees will miss him tremendously. Notably, Bob was and will always be an extended member of the Yarborough family. Bob, or Uncle Bob, was born in Whitehall, Illinois, and one of five children. He was born to the union of his late parents, Francis Eugene Walton (Father) of Roodhouse, Illinois, and Mary Emmadine Walton (Mother) of Whitehall, Illinois. Bob was preceded in death by both parents and his older brother, William Kevin Walton. He leaves to cherish his memory Carl Walton (brother), two sisters, Diane Persely and Marybeth Walton Slone, and a host of family members, extended family (Yarborough family and staff), and friends. Bob was a proud veteran and former service member of the United States Navy. Robert "Bob" Michael Walton will be love, his memory will be cherished, and Bob will remain in our hearts forever.
