Reggie Jefferson

Reggie Jefferson, 63, was born December 21, 1959, and entered into rest on Thursday, December 14, 2023, in Fayetteville, NC. Reggie was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey.

Reggie graduated from Essex County Vocational/Technical High School, Newark, NJ; Lincoln Technical Institute, Union, NJ; and U.S. Army Motor Transport Operator Course, Fort Dix, NJ. He received an Honorable Discharge. Reggie enjoyed the time he spent studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. That was a period of peace and happiness for him. He also had a good heart and a fun sense of humor. Our family will miss him very much.

Reggie was preceded in death by his mother, Allene Jefferson, and two brothers, Marvin and Robert Jefferson. He leaves to cherish memories his wife, Mae Jeter Jefferson; his son Tyri Jefferson and daughter, Tanisha Jefferson; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley Smith (Ulysses) and Eula Armstrong (Ross); two nephews and their wives and Troy Jefferson (Tomira) and Jason Puryear (Nerissa) and their children, as well as, a host of cousins and friends.
