Eva Mae Ellis

Eva Mae Ellis entered into eternal life surrounded by a loving family on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in the comfort of her home. In her 86 years, She touched many lives and made countless friends while working as a beautician at Godwin's Beauty Center for more than fifty years. Eva is survived three children, Mae E. Johnson, James A. Ellis, Jr and Arveta Ellis Simpson. She was preceded in death by her late husband and friend Deacon James A. Ellis Sr., Mother, Janie B. Pompey and Brother, Gene Pompey. On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 400 Campell Avenue Fayetteville, NC. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Paye Memorial Funeral Parlor, located at 2013 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC, from 4-6 pm.
