Carolyn Jean Howard

Carolyn Jean Howard was born to Bessie Howard Stroud on August 4, 1956 in Sanford, North Carolina. She departed this life on earth Sunday, March 1, 2020 at her home. Carolyn relocated to Newark, New Jersey where she completed her education at South Side High School in Newark, New Jersey. After employment in Home Services, she returned to Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2003, where she devoted her entire life to the love and care of her friends, family and especially her son. She was a kind and loving person who loved all of her family whether near or far. Which was a characteristic passed down to all those that she met. Anyone who knew her can attest to her loving spirit and giving spirit. She was generous, kind hearted and unselfish in interactions with others. Her strength was persevering. Carolyn leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: son, Justian Howard; sisters, Fayth Solomon of Fayetteville, NC and Margaret Stroud of Newark, New Jersey; brothers, Robert Earl Howard (Brenda) of Newark, New Jersey Jerome Stroud of Newark, New Jersey and Charles Stroud (Toinetta) of Fayetteville, NC. Carolyn will truly be remembered and missed by her family, friends and her need to help others.
